Ruling Awami League-backed candidate Talukder Abdul Khaleque won the Khulna city election unofficially.
The results were published on Monday (June 12) evening.

Talukder Abdul Khaleque received 154,825 votes while his nearest contender Islami Andolan Bangladesh’s candidate Abdul Awal received 60,064 votes so far.
The total vote centres in the Khulna City Corporation (KCC) polls is 289
