Over 100 people have been injured in clashes between students demanding quota reforms and ruling party men in Dhaka city’s Science Lab area.
Of the injured, at least five students received bullet injuries during the clash around 5:30pm on Tuesday.
The injured students received treatment at various hospitals, including Popular Diagnostic Center.
Earlier on Monday, protesting students were attacked by Chhatra League leaders and activists.
Protesting this, students brought out a procession in Science Lab area on Tuesday noon when Chhatra League and Juba League leaders and activists attacked them, triggering sporadic clashes.
